FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The University of Arkansas starts classes on August 18 and some big changes were made for parking on campus.

Move-in at University of Arkansas changes this year | What to know

With many traffic back-ups and limited parking, it can be difficult to navigate the campus while driving. To ensure a smooth experience, the university will increase transit frequency by adding 11,000 hours of service this year and have more frequent pick-ups starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m.

There will also be increased signage around parking lots and campus to help students navigate the traffic, as well as having staff members in the lots and garages during the first few weeks to answer questions and provide guidance.
