Powerball ticket wins $1M in NE Ohio

(WJW) – Check those Powerball tickets!

Someone in Ohio is likely holding a Powerball ticket worth $1 million. According to Ohio Lottery documents, one lucky ticket purchased in the Buckeye State matched five out of five numbers in the Wednesday, Aug. 6, drawing.

Officials said the auto-pick ticket was purchased at a Circle K in Seville.

There were also $1 million tickets sold in New York, New Jersey and California.

No one was lucky enough to hit the Powerball JACKPOT, which now climbs to an estimated $482 million. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

The next drawing is on Saturday, Aug. 9.
