21日のニューヨーク外国為替市場の円相場は午後5時現在、前日比1円05銭円安・ドル高の1ドル＝148円33～43銭を付けた。ユーロは1ユーロ＝1・1601～11ドル、172円12～22銭。
米長期金利の上昇に伴い日米金利差が意識され、円売り・ドル買いが強まった。米連邦準備制度理事会（FRB）のパウエル議長の講演を22日に控えて様子見ムードもあった。（共同）
