Pennsylvania teen nearly abducted from driveway, troopers investigating

CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTAJ) — State police are investigating after a teen was nearly abducted from a driveway in Indiana County Wednesday night.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a 17-year-old girl from Centre Township was walking home around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 27, and was standing in her driveway on Apple Lane when she spotted an unknown male standing near her.

The teen told police the man grabbed her arm, but never said a word. She said she immediately pulled away from the man and ran from the area.

The suspect was described by the victim as being a male of average build. It was reported he was dressed in black clothing and wearing a ski mask.

Responding troopers searched the area and spoke with neighbors. They were also able to review nearby security cameras; however, no additional information was found.
