A freshly restored 1956 Chevrolet 150 Post RestoMod has surfaced for sale in New York, offering a blend of old-school Tri-Five styling and contemporary performance upgrades. With just 50 miles on a complete rotisserie restoration, this no-nonsense Chevy is now a show-ready street machine built for modern-day driving.

Finished in a striking custom Dark Purple Pearl, this Chevy 150 is powered by a brand-new Blueprint 350ci V8 engine producing 361 horsepower. It's mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, shifting through a Hurst shifter and backed by a new Ram clutch and flywheel. The engine setup includes high-flow aluminum heads, headers, and a Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Power steering and power brakes with front discs provide updated drivability, while a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears and a big aluminum radiator with an electric fan ensures it runs cool under pressure.

The exterior features all-new chrome, trim, emblems, and American Racing Torque Thrust wheels—18 inches in front and 20 in the rear—giving the post-body sedan a raked stance with attitude. Inside, the cabin has been refinished in black and white vinyl with matching door panels, Dakota Digital gauges, and a retro-look radio with Bluetooth. Vintage Air HVAC, a white headliner, smooth window mechanisms, and Dynamat sound insulation finish the interior upgrades.

While the 1956 150 was once Chevrolet's base model, often stripped of luxury for fleet or work duty, this example is a far cry from its humble origins. Once a bare-bones canvas for hot rodders, it’s now a fully sorted RestoMod with modern tech, muscle, and comfort. The build includes a 26-month/29,000-mile warranty on the engine and comes with full documentation, including the dyno sheet.

For enthusiasts seeking vintage lines and modern reliability, this RestoMod offers the best of both worlds—with show car looks and real-world capability.
