The 2025 Venice Film Festival is here, and we could not be more ready for the glamour that is to come.
The annual event kicked off today in Italy’s Floating City, and already, throngs of Hollywood stars have flooded to the red carpet for their respective premieres.
Amal and George Clooney hopped on over from their Lake Como villa, and made quite an entrance in Venice via water taxi—with Amal looking radiant in a butter-yellow dress.
Meanwhile, Cate Blanchett was a vision in a plunging black gown as she walked the La Grazia red carpet this afternoon. Barbara Palvin also go the little black dress memo. And mother-daughter duo Leni Klum and Heidi Klum brought the drama with their contrasting gowns.
Soon, Julia Roberts will arrive for the premiere of Luca Guadagnino’s After The Hunt, and many other major names will follow.
This year’s film festival will include premieres of notable films like Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Kathryn Bigelow’s A House of Dynamite, Yorgos Lanthimos’s Bugonia, Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother, and Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly.
The starry event wraps on September 6, so we still have many days of red-carpet extravagance ahead of us.
