The National Hurricane Center is watching a tropical wave that is showing potential for slow development. The wave is expected to move off the coast of Africa over the Labor Day weekend.

AccuWeather forecasters said there is a low chance for tropical development near the U.S. coast or in the Gulf over the Labor Day weekend.
